Wanted to see if there was anyone still around. Things are a bit quiet here...  By the way, I'll be gone for the next two weeks, (heading for the windy city!) so wish me luck on my first airplane trip! |

Good luck Akari, if you get the chance diss the Bears (I'm from Wisconsin, sue me) just as you're leaving. Anyhow, I'm here and alive, but I don't like posting unecessarily, if there's anyone else here talk to me.

Chicago, Illinois. Of course now everyone knows I'm back home for spring break now, seeing that I have replyied to two topics just now. There are certainly a lot of places to explore in the city itself. That place was made for great musicians.  Unfortunately, TenshiSan, if I had done that in public, I most certainly wouldn't be here right now! ;D |

Splendid! I can't say the same about the flight home, though... we almost had to stay another day because of the weather! And the turbulence...sheesh! As soon as I felt the plane shift downward a little, I mentally lost it (but outwardly I kept my cool...after I unpried my hand from the seat... can't say that I don't sweat a lot anymore... :  . Anyway, I experienced a first hand look at the city: street musicians, multicultural restaurants (i.e. Spanish-run McDonald's and Panda Express, Chinese Subways and Japanese Dunkin' Doughnuts, etc.), CTA Subway rides, an ungrateful guy who asks for a dollar but recieves 50 cents ;D, and a variety of music and game stores. Not to mention another guy who asks for money. And a very brief peek at Lake Michigan. All in all, I had fun. (especially since I was the only female to go on the trip. Think private room  ) I probably will not fly again, due to the trauma and mental scars that have been inflicted upon me, but I would like to visit up there again one day! |
